Who are Speech Therapists?

What do Speech Therapists do?

Provides treatment to enable you or your loved one to communicate effectively and improve oral motor skills to ensure safe swallowing. Plans of care may include:

Communication - Auditory comprehension, expression, writing/reading skills and speech intelligibility


Cognition - Memory and executive functioning

Swallowing - Diagnosis and treatment of swallowing problems and diet progression
